TO HELP THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA COVERED BY TANDRIDGE DISTRICT COUNCIL (OR ANY SUCCESSOR BODY) WHO HAVE SPECIALISED TRANSPORT NEEDS BECAUSE OF PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITY OR AGE, INFIRMITY, AND IN APRTICULA BRUT NOT SO AS TO LIMIT THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING:-(A) TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN NOT-FOR-PROFIT COMMUNITY TRANSPORT SERVICES USING VEHICLES, MOST OF WHICH RE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE; AND (B) TO ASSIST THE CHARITABLE WORK OF ORGANISATIONS AND BODIES ENGAGE DIN HELPING SUCH PERSONS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF APPROPRIATE TRANSPORT SERVICES.
