Objectives

To advance education primarily among the children of Castlemilk and environs ('the Operating Area') through: the provision and supervision of learning-orientated activities for school and pre-school chddren. the provision of care, guidance, instruction, activities and support directed towards addressing the special educational needs of school and pre-school children who are living in necessitous circumstances and /or single parent family. increasing knowledge and awareness among school and pre-school children of the principles associated with maintaining good health and preserving the environment. To promote and/or provide training in the skills associated with the care and supervision of school and pre-school children. To relieve poverty principally among the residents of the Operating Area (a) by releasing individuals (whether parents or guardians) having the care of school and/or pre- school children to attend training courses and programmes which are directed towards the acquisinon of skills which will assist such individuals in obtaining paid . employment, or b) by allowing individuals in necessitous circumstances (whether parents or guardians) having the care of school and/or pre-school children to maintain themselves in paid employment.
