    The Charity�s objects (�Objects�) are to:- (1) Advance community development on the island of Ireland (the �area of benefit�) by: (a) developing the capacity and skills of members of socially and economically disadvantaged communities in Northern Ireland in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully and constructively in society; (b) promoting and supporting social enterprises and other sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration. (2) Promote human rights, conflict resolution and reconciliation, equality and diversity by: (a) providing support, training and related services, and setting out a transformative pathway, in order to build and maintain social cohesion and trust among people from different political and cultural traditions, who may become or have been involved in acts of violence, community disharmony, anti-social behaviour or unlawful activity; (b) raising awareness and enhancing understanding of: (i) the historical and political development of human rights and equality; (ii) the differing models of equality; (iii) perceived gains and losses between communities; (c) promoting research into the causes, prevention and alleviation of destructive patterns of behaviour. (3) Advance education for the public benefit by delivering classes, courses and programmes concerning economics, politics, history and social and cultural matters.
