TO ADVANCE THE HEALTH, AND TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS BY REASON OF ILL-HEALTH, OF PEOPLE WITH LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESSES (“SUCH PEOPLE”), IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY: (1) THE PROVISION OF CARE, ADVICE AND SERVICES TO SUCH PEOPLE, AND TO THEIR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND CARERS.(2) THE PROVISION OF SERVICES FOR THOSE WHO HAVE UNDERGONE A BEREAVEMENT OR LOSS, AND THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, ADVICE AND SUPPORT TO OTHERS WHO ARE IN CONTACT WITH SUCH PEOPLE.(3) CONDUCTING, PROMOTING, AND ENCOURAGING THE TEACHING AND TRAINING OF STAFF AND INFORMAL CARERS ENGAGED IN THE CARE OF SUCH PEOPLE. (4) CONDUCTING AND PROMOTING RESEARCH INTO THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF, OR SERVICES FOR SUCH PEOPLE AND TO DISSEMINATE THE RESULTS THEREOF.
