THE MINDFULNESS INITIATIVE 

The Mindfulness Initiative conducts research and educates leaders, policy makers, service commissioners and the public about the theory and practice of mindfulness and compassion training. “TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE PRACTICE AND SCIENCE OF MINDFULNESS AND COMPASSION TRAINING, AND IN FURTHERANCE: I) TO SUPPLY EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND OTHER SERVICES TO MEMBERS OF THE UK PARLIAMENT AND CIVIL SERVICE TO HELP THEM INQUIRE INTO THE PRACTICE, SCIENCE AND BENEFITS OF MINDFULNESS AND COMPASSION TRAINING WITHIN PUBLIC SERVICES AND POLICY MAKING, AND EXTEND SUCH EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND OTHER SERVICES TO THE LEGISLATIVE SYSTEMS OF OTHER COUNTRIES. II) TO EDUCATE LEADERS, PROFESSIONALS AND SERVICE COMMISSIONERS ABOUT THE PRACTICE, SCIENCE AND BENEFITS OF MINDFULNESS AND COMPASSION TRAINING IN ALL SECTORS.
