A project to increase participation in physical activity of local inactive black & minority ethnic females. A Sport Coach will facilitate weekly sessions for up to 25 people (aged 40 to 99) at the Multi Use Game Area. Daily activity of 7 minutes of 7 different exercises for 7 days will lead to a challenge of 70 miles in 70 days to complete. Support includes a fitness tracker, monthly 2-hour healthy eating & personal development workshops, food diaries & access to technological resources. The aim is to provide skills to sustain a healthier lifestyle & diet to improve mental & physical health.
