MULTI-STORY MUSIC

The objective of the charity is to advance the education of the public in the subject of orchestral music, particularly but not exclusively by advancing and developing public access to, and appreciation of, orchestral music. This is achieved by giving orchestral concerts in unconventional spaces such as multi storey car parks and touring local schools with little or no access to orchestral music.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • There has been a change of accounting period recently, so trends may be hard to determine
Established: 10 years
