YOUTH LEADS UK

Youth Leads UK is an award-winning charity getting the voice of young people heard and acted upon. We run skills development programmes to upskill disadvantaged young people, publish Xplode Magazine providing a platform for young people to use their voice and we challenge decision-makers on under-representation of young people at leadership level.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers and there are significant future grants due to be received
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
Established: 10 years
