The children who will benefit from the project are living in an area ranked as within the 30% most deprived in England. The focus will be on families where parents are isolated, lonely or suffering from stress, anxiety or poor mental health and who are not eligible for specialist support. An early years coach will provide advice, guidance and practical support to families in Hastings with children up to 3 years old. Parents will be coached and enabled to nurture their children to improve their outcomes in a 15-week cycle, during which they can get help through a mixture of telephone, 1-to-1 support, and group discussion.
