The most ....more One of the most significant advances to prevent HIV transmission in recent years has been the development of PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), a prevention pill which protects from HIV. The most important factor of the success of the medication is taking the pills correctly, however there is very little support available currently to provide this support, particularly for those who buy PrEP online. This project will develop, build and pilot a digital platform for a two-way text messaging system that will help people to adhere to their medication regime and take it in the right way for it to be effective, therefore improving health outcomes.
