Lunch Positive provide community based HIV support services incorporating a wide range of support activities for residents of Brighton & Hove and the wider areas of Sussex. They address and combat diverse and multiple disadvantages for many of the most isolated and marginalised, improving the lives, health and well-being of beneficiaries. Lunch Positive provides community based support for people with HIV who have complex needs, diminished physical health, often multi-morbidities, symptomatic HIV (AIDS), HIV and age related frailty, diminished mental health affecting self-care. Funding is for weekly volunteer delivery of cooked food and basic pantry groceries to people in poverty who are unable to access services in-person, and an expanded drop in HIV food bank in Brighton for anyone with HIV in the locality.
