Each will receive individual assessment of their needs and risks to help them as a family. A support plan will assist them in moving on through one to one guidance and help with areas such as security, housing and finance through to child contact, legal options, court and emotional support. Around 540 survivors of domestic abuse and their families will benefit.

This project supports victims of domestic abuse to escape the abuse they are experiencing and to re-establish their lives. The service covers Charnwood and North West Leicestershire. The current level of service cannot meet the existing demand and this grant will double provision. Support is provided on a one-to-one basis to both female and male victims and the flexible nature of the service ensures each client receives a unique package of advice, information and support depending on their individual needs.
