The aim of the project is to improve the contact and quality of relationships for children who have imprisoned parents while also giving offenders skills and knowledge to aid their integration upon release.

This project will help children and families maintain meaningful contact with a parent who is in prison while lowering the risk of reoffending. Imprisoned fathers and mothers will be able to send personalised story CDs and DVDs to their children. This will also help improve literacy amongst prisoners, as they will be encouraged to write down their stories before recording them, as well as give them the chance to learn parenting skills. This will aid with rehabilitation and future employment prospects.
