It will pilot mixing face-to-face delivery and online with services led by speech and language therapists and assistants. It currently supports 80 people per week with a waiting list for support.

This new project for Eastbourne-based Dyscover aims to develop a more flexible and responsive post-hospital treatment for stroke survivors and other aphasic people in London and the South East, while improving their social participation. The NHS delivers acute care to aphasic people with brain injuries and stroke sufferers but can only offer a small amount of speech rehabilitation.
