    To promote the relief of sickness through improving the conditions and life of persons who are suffering from life limiting illness or other disease, disability or infirmity (and in this document they are called “the Beneficiaries”) and their families and carers, throughout the United Kingdom and particularly in the counties of Staffordshire and South Cheshire, through the reception and care of persons resident and suffering as aforesaid and undertaking of all other such activities as may be appropriate and ancillary to the care of persons suffering and resident as aforesaid in accordance with such rules and regulations as the directors of the Charity shall from time to time in their absolute and unfettered discretion think fit.
