Young people living with HIV are very likely to have endured complex and adverse childhoods. Many are lost in the transition to adult services.‘You Are Not Alone’ is a new programme designed to address this acute need, which uses a particular form of therapy called Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. This therapy has already been proven to transform the lives of young people with mental health conditions that were thought untreatable, and this grant will make it accessible to young people struggling with HIV.
