The funding will provide for a creative group setting for adult men to make social connections learn new skills share knowledge build confidence and improve mental health and wellbeing. It will deliver 3 blocks of 6 weekly sessions (18 total) focussing on various making processes (I.e. printing photography stonework) incorporating a creative approach to mental health. There will also be 3 exhibition visits and a final Men Who Make exhibition event.

Fabrica is a popular contemporary arts gallery and charity in Brighton. Funding was provided for their 'Men Who Make' project – a bespoke initiative developed out of learning and extensive experience delivering mental health and wellbeing projects, while offering new approaches to support men at risk across the city. It will enable them to deliver 12 creative wellbeing sessions over summer and autumn 2021.
